DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 01
New Delhi Arrival

Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport, you are met by our representative and assisted to your vehicle for your transfer to your hotel. Check-in upon arrival. Relax for the rest of the day with chosen activities. Overnight stay at Hotel in New Delhi.

DAY 02
New Delhi Local Sightseeing

Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. You will be taken on a guided tour of Delhi, beginning with a morning sightseeing trip to Old Delhi and followed by visits to the 1648 Red Fort, India’s largest mosque – Juma Masjid, and Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat. The afternoon tour includes visits to India Gate, the President’s House, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, and Qutab Minar. Overnight stay at Hotel in New Delhi.

DAY 03
New Delhi / Mandawa

Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. Drive to Mandawa. On Arrival, check in at the Hotel. Later, sightseeing in the Shekhavati Area. Overnight stay at Hotel in Mandawa.

DAY 04
Mandawa / Bikaner

Breakfast at the Hotel. Later, sightseeing of Mandawa, which includes the Shekhawati Area and Haveli’s. Visit the Goenka Havelis, the Ladia havelis, and theSaraff Havelis, which are interesting for their beautiful frescoes. Afternoon, Leave for Bikaner. On arrival, check in at the Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Bikaner.

DAY 05
Bikaner / Jaisalmer

Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. Visit the Junagarh Fort, which has a 989-meter-long wall with 37 bastions. Within the fort are several palaces, pavilions, and temples with superb stone carvings. The Fort Museum houses a valuable collection of ancient manuscripts, miniature paintings, jewelry, costumes, etc.

Afternoon, drive westwards into the Thar Desert to Jaisalmer – the desert citadel. The magical and incomparably romantic desert fortress is straight out of the Tales of the Arabian Nights. On Arrival, check-in at the Hotel/Camp. Overnight stay at Hotel/Camp in Jaisalmer.

DAY 06
Jaisalmer

After breakfast, a tour of Jaisalmer, including the Jaisalmer Fort, built in 1156, which has 99 bastions around its circumference. Enjoy the panoramic view of the surroundings from the fort’s wall. Within the fort is a group of beautifully carved Jain Temples built between the 12th and the 15th Centuries. Patwa Haveli, which is the most elaborate and magnificent of all the havelies in Jaisalmer. The other havelies worth visiting are the Salim Haveli & Nathmal Haveli. Overnight stay at Hotel/Camp in Jaisalmer.

DAY 07
Jaisalmer / Jodhpur

Breakfast at the Hotel. Drive to Jodhpur. Arrive at Jodhpur in the afternoon and check-in at the hotel. Evening proceeds for a tour of Jodhpur,r visiting the impressive Mehrangarh Fort, built by Maharaja Rao Jodha in 1459. Inside the fort, the many palaces and courtyards are a reminder of the city’s glorious past. The Palace Museum houses a collection of the Maharaja’s memorabilia. Overnight stay at Hotel in Jodhpur.

DAY 08
Jodhpur / Ranakpur / Udaipur

Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. Drive to Udaipur, stopping enroute at Ranakpur. Visit one of the biggest and most important Jain Temple complexes in India. The main temple in this complex is called Charmukha (four-faced), built in 1439, and is the most complex and extensive of Jain temples in India, covering over 40,000 sq. ft. It has 29 halls containing 1444 pillars, each carved with intricate, delicate carvings, and no two pillars are alike. Evening arrives at Udaipur and check in Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Udaipur.

DAY 09
City Tour of Udaipur.

Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. Visit City Palace, Jagdish Temple. Proceed to the Garden of the Maids of Honour, constructed in the early 18th Century, which was used as a venue for Royal parties. Evening, take a romantic boat ride on Lake Pichola from where you can admire the beauty of Udaipur, reflected smooth and white in the still blue waters of the Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel in Udaipur.

DAY 10
Udaipur / Kota

Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. Drive to Kota. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon, visit the beautiful edifices that Kota has to offer. The Palaces & Forts, Government College, Mahatma Gandhi Hall & the Bailey Clock Tower. Overnight stay at Hotel in Kota.

DAY 11
Kota / Jaipur

After Breakfast, leave by road to Jaipur. On arrival, check in at the Hotel. Afternoon, free to explore the colorful bazaars on your own. Optional Service: Visit Chokhi Dhani Ethnic Village ( optional services – all entry fees payable directly). Overnight stay at Hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 12
City tour of Jaipur

Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. City tour of Jaipur, including Amber Fort, situated on the top of a hill, and overlooks the Maoti Lak,e which rreflectsterraces and ramparts. Ascend the hill on a richly caparisoned elephant (optional). Once at the top, you can admire the myriad of palaces within the fort complex. Of particular interest are the Sheesh Mahal, faced with mirrors and seen to full effect when lit by a ma, tch, and Shukh Niwas – a pleasure place with a marble water course to cool the air around. In the afternoon, a tour of Jaipur visiting the City Palace, Hawa Mahal & the Astronomical Observatory (Jantar-Mantar) or the Palace of Winds from where the ladies of the Royal household could watch the everyday life of the city. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 13
JaipuFatehpurhput Sikri / Agra

Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. Drive to Agra en route, the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, its Royal Palace, Jami Masjid, and the Buland Darwaza (41m high gate). Arrive at Agra and transfer to the Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel in Agra.

DAY 14
Agra / New Delhi
Breakfast is taken at the Hotel. Visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, the eternal and extravagant monument expressing the enduring love of Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj took 22,000labourerss from Central Asia and India were employed. Also, visit Akbar’s magnificent Agra Fort, which dominates the center of the city y, and Itmad-ud-Daulatombmp, built by Nur Jahan in memory of her parents. Later, leave by surface for New Delhi. Evening arrives at New Delhi and transfers to International Airport to connect flight for onward journey.
